This course aims to provide in-depth acupuncture training for physiotherapists. It includes theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Modern Acupuncture and clinical practice in Hong Kong. Treatment of various clinical conditions commonly encountered by physiotherapists will be emphasized.

* For accreditation by HKPA, 80% of attendance, pass of all written and practical examinations and completed clinical practice are required.

Based on well-experienced clinical practice and broad spectrum of post–graduate studies, Alex has developed an integrated treatment approach (AIMS) with unique and creative techniques deriving from Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Maitland, Bobath and CST. AIMS is a problem oriented approach which demands a precise assessment and accurate problems identification. This course will teach you how to evaluate Cx dysfunctions and treat common conditions effectively e.g. Cx spondylosis, acute wry neck, Cx headache/ dizziness and first rib syndrome. This approach is highly effective for musculo-skeletal dysfunction management.
